Trail of History
I've been a little busy and I had forgotten to update the Spoon and Blade in a while. If you want to see some pictures of my new still and a complete review of our weekend at Trail of History, you can check them out here.

Ok went read and saw, here are my comments:
- you look exactly as I pictured you right down to the poneytail (although I think yours was a coon's tail in the picture).
- I'm really impressed with all the work you've done, and all the work it takes to continuously do this.
- I'm also glad (for your sake) that your family enjoys and supports these activities.
Part of me wonders if my son ate the ball the morning of my re-enacting day because he didn't want to go. I think he was afraid of the jousting.
Thanks for posting the pics! And now for the really stupid questions (see as a princess and a girl in my re-enactments, I really don't have to know much on how the "real" people lived):
- did you all make your own clothes or did someone make them for you (I'm assuming the oldfashion way-handsewn)?
- does the trading/bartering occur for real or is it pretend.
- what do children do while the parents do their demos and battles?
- how many people on average show up at these events?
I'm such a woos, I could never do one of these outside of the summer - tooo cold. What do you guys do if it's too cold, 'cause I pressume your coat won't go that far in heating you up below 50F? Okay, that's all folks.
