CBS Sucks!

CBS is canceling the show Jericho... again. They canceled the show last year, but an overwhelming response by fans brought it back.

I'll admit that I love this show. It's one of my favorites each week. I was upset when they canceled it. When they brought it back I was ecstatic. I just love the show, it appeals to my inner survivalist and contingency planning wackoness. GAH! Why do all the shows I like get canceled.

They are re-running the entire series so far on the Sci-fi channel.

This was the reasoning the guys at SliceOfSciFi gave:
"The excuse given by the honchos at CBS is the show simply couldn’t generate large enough ratings beyond its ambitious and energetic fanbase. In TV talk that’s no new viewers added to generate ad revenues.
It matters not that “Jericho” was the most downloaded show in the network’s history, or seen by a huge share of the DVR audience, because until networks and advertisers can find a way to find a consistent way to make money off of those formats, their huge numbers mean nothing to them."

It was confirmed on Friday evening (3/21), on Shaun o'Mac's radio broadcast, that the show’s production company will be trying to find another home for Jericho. Most likely they will be looking at cable networks.
