Oh snow!
Yea... well... okay so we got about 9 inches. That didn't stop me from going to work and having fun driving in it.
I love driving in snow!
We had between 1/2" and 1" of Ice/Sleet. The U.S. Highway through town this morning was like an unmaintained dirt road. Big chunks of ice broken out.
But, all of our drivers went out and did their curbside routes-albeit 2.5 hours late. Town lost power for about 3.5 hours, but our farmhouse only flicked off for about 1 minute. However, they are calling for snow and wind tomorrow. Winds in excess of 25 mph on power lines and trees coated with 1/2" of ice. Will not be surprised to see loads of power outages.
Supposedly, Macomb had lots of problems with broken poles and huge outages.
Somebody call Al Gore and ask him to bring a big fat suitcase of globull warming up this way.
Stoopid Fall. Winter is really going to suck.
