Time to move?

As much as I appreciate everything that being a part of .mu.nu has given to me, I'm thinking it's time for me to move away from the community. The comments are down... again. I really hate when I can't get comments. For those that e-mail me their comments, I appreciate that, but I know it's frustrating. Plus trackbacks have been gone for a line time... and I miss them.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to lose my archives and honestly I don't know how to go about transferring them. That's the main reason I've never left. To be honest I'd love to move someplace and have all my old blogspot archives and here combined into one.

I've been working for almost a week now with Typepad. I like it. I'm having some problems with the importing part, but that's a Tammi issue, not their's.

AND I finally figured out how to "personalize" the design, so that's coming together.

I like it. I pay $8.95 a month for Typepad and the hosting is the largest part of that fee.

Just my .02 cents worth.....

I am totally lazy and extremely ignorant of the technical aspects of blogging. So Blogger was a pretty good fit for me, as it's pretty much idiot-proof.
Not to imply you are an idiot.... as you see, it is not foot-in-mouth-tendency proof.
I was a Munuvian back in the day, but bailed out and just didn't go back, basically because I couldn't for the life of me remember my password or any details so I could post. Pixy got me started in the blogworld and I love the man, but the MuNu universe is spiraling madly under the weight of its own growing membership.

I'm right there with ya. I'll send you an email. Problem is that most that are free don't have anything to help you move your archive. Or at least the couple I looked at recently. The ones you pay for on a monthly basis... seem to have the ability to move the archive. Even the $9 a month ones. If you find something, let me know please. I'm still looking.

I'm in the same boat . . . but have no time to do it.
